A selection without any claim for completeness; for further information see Uwe Harten's book, p. 257 ff.

Recommendation:

For a kick-off the Musik-Konzepte book on Hans Rott is very helpful. It contains many interesting articles which are indispensable for profound Hans Rott studies.

Those who wish to study more intensely the life and work of Hans Rott cannot afford to miss the books by Harten and Schmidt. Harten's book contains a great number of documents (inter alia the Rott biography by Maja Loehr) which are otherwise not or only difficult to obtain. Schmidt's study comprises a comprehensive biography, detailed analyses of Rott's most important compositions and of his compositional technique as well as previously unpublished documents.
